Concordia Peewee baseball 7-3-25

In the final day of the regular season, the four Concordia teams matched up to prepare for the district tournaments in Belleville and Clifton, July 7-11.

The Chevys and American Legion will travel to Belleville, with the Knights and Lions going to Clifton.

Wednesday, June 25

The Concordia Knights defeated the Chevys 15-4.

Led by Jaden Farha’s three runs on three hits, including a home run, with three RBIs, and two runs each from Maklen Brown, Mason Olsen, and Nash Farha, the Knights took a 5-1 lead after the first inning. The Chevys scored three runs in the second to keep the pressure on the Knights, who scored two runs to make it a 7-4 game. The Knights’ defense shut down the Chevys for the rest of the game, as their offense brought in six runs in the third inning and two in the fourth. Hershel Hutchinson scored two runs on one hit for the Chevys, with Beau Letourneau and Kaden Jackson scoring the other runs.

The Lions defeated the Legion 13-4.

The duo of Parson Link and Luke Peterson led the way for the Lions, scoring a trio of runs each, and nine total hits from the team. Starting strong with three runs scored in the first, with two runs in the second, the Lions sealed the deal with six runs in the third inning. The Legion got things going late, getting the bases loaded in the third, and got on the board in the fourth inning, and scored all four runs in the inning. Gabe Fall, Trey Trost, Asher Crump, and Chase Fox all scored for the Legion.
