On Sunday, June 14,
At 5:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West 8th Street for a civil standby.
On Saturday, June 13,
At 9:46 p.m., officers made contact with a group of individuals in the 300 block of East 8th Street who appeared to be having a verbal argument. Upon investigation, Jose Fernando Ochoa-Lopez of Concordia, was arrested for indecent liberties with a child. Ochoa-Lopez was transported to Cloud County Corrections for processing.
At 1:25 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West College Drive for a report of harassment via telecommunication device.
At 12:52 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West 8th Street for a report of theft of services. No report was needed.
On Friday, June 12,
At 3:13 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East College Drive for a report of theft. Upon investigation, Jackson Valeka and a juvenile (name redacted) were both cited for theft. The juvenile was released to the custody of their parents.
At 3:04 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Lincoln Street for a non-injury accident.
At 12:17 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East 5th Street for a report of harassment via telecommunication device.
At 9:04 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West 6th Street for a civil standby.
On Wednesday, June 10,
At 10:52 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Peck Avenue and Crestview Drive for a noise complaint.
At 1:21 p.m., officers took a report of theft that occurred in the 700 block of West 11th Street. This incident has been forwarded to the Cloud County Attorney.
On Tuesday, June 9,
At 6:08 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Industrial Road and East 7th Street for a report of a non-injury accident.
At 4:29 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of 5th Street and Broadway Street for a report of an injury accident. One occupant was transported to North Central Kansas Medical Center.
On Monday, June 8,
At 5:58 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Lincoln Street and 12th Street for a non-injury accident.
At 5:40 p.m., officers spoke with an individual regarding a report of fraud.
At 3:42 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Kansas Street. Upon investigation, the driver, Kenneth Prickette of Lawerence, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and drug paraphernalia. The passenger, Katelynn Collard of Concordia, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Collard and Prickette were transported to Cloud County Corrections. Additional charges of trafficking a controlled substance into a correctional institution were filed against Collard.
At 9:08 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West 5th Street for a report of criminal trespass. Upon investigation, Brianna Kever was arrested for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Kever was transported to Cloud County Corrections.
At 9:06 a.m., officers took a report of forgery at the police department. Officers are currently working with Waco (TX) Police Department regarding this incident.
