Hosting a shortened Concordia Invite before it was ended due to weather in the area, the Concordia High School track team completed seven events in the 10-team meet.
Concordia girls were ninth with five points, Clifton-Clyde was first with 58 points, and the boys were sixth with 13 points; Buhler was first with 70 points.
In the boys’ discus, Brody Knox was 17th with a throw of 108’10”, Caden Stein was 21st with a throw of 96’10”, Nolan Christensen was 26th with a throw of 83’7”, Warric Eakins was 29th with a throw of 80’5”, and Rylan Christensen was 32nd with a throw of 73’10”. Brant Wilson of Smith Center was first with a throw of 166’3”.
In the girls’ discus, Marlie Metzler was 14th with a throw of 91’10”, Jori Letourneau was 19th with a throw of 87’9”, and Kaziah Regnier was 24th with a throw of 72’6”. Calyn Baker of Clifton-Clyde was first with a throw of 132’7”.
In boys’ high jump, Stanley Dervil was fourth with a height of 5’10”, and Zack Stovall was 11th with a height of 5’. Garrett Gleason of Buhler was first with a height of 6’2”.
In the boys’ javelin throw, Brody Knox was 12th with a throw of 134’9”, Jett Flax was 13th with a throw of 132’8”, Caden Stein was 26th with a throw of 113’2”, Warric Eakins was 28th with a throw of 107’7”, and Rylan Christensen was 32nd with a throw of 95’9”. Wilson (SC) was first with a throw of 168’5”.
In the girls’ javelin throw, Kingly Kisby was 13th with a throw of 83’4”, Rubi Trost was 16th with a throw of 81’, Alexis Luedke was 20th with a throw of 67’4”, and Kaziah Regnier was 21st with a throw of 59’11”. Paige Joy of Clifton-Clyde was first with a throw of 108’1”.
In the boys’ long jump, Javen Garcia was third with a jump of 21’1”, Matthew Naillieux was fifth with a jump of 20’4”, Zack Stovall was 12th with a jump of 18’6”, and Kalvin Keller was 17th with a jump of 17’6”. Gleason (Buhler) was first with a jump of 21’7”.
In the girls’ long jump, Avery Kueker was fifth with a jump of 16’2”, Marlee VanMeter was sixth with a jump of 15’11.25”, Rubi Trost was ninth with a jump of 13’10.5”, Brexlynn Koch was 14th with a jump of 12’10.5”, and Oakleigh Teel was 19th with a jump of 12’5.25”. Sevy Wurtz of Clifton-Clyde was first with a jump of 17’7.5”.
In the girls’ pole vault, Gabi Lange was fifth with a height of 9’. Jordi Fahey of Clifton-Clyde was first with a height of 10’.
In the boys’ shot put, Brody Knox was 10th with a throw of 40’7.5”, Caden Stein was 14th with a throw of 38’11.5”, Nolan Christensen was 26th with a throw of 32’1”, Rylan Christensen was 29th with a throw of 30’8”, and Warric Eakins was 30th with a throw of 26’. Wilson (SC) was first with a throw of 46’0.5”.
In the girls’ shot put, Jori Letourneau was 16th with a throw of 29’4”, Marlie Metzler was 18th with a throw of 28’5”, and Alexis Luecke was 20th with a throw of 27’2”. Bently Pruitt of Beloit was first with a throw of 40’5.5”.
In the girls’ triple jump, Rubi Trost was ninth with a jump of 29’11.25”, Wurtz (CC) was first with a jump of 34’9.5”.
In the only track event, the boys’ 4x800m relay, the team of Carson Gallardo, Alex Gallardo, Daniel Reedy, and Brody Marsh was fifth with a time of 9:52.64. Smith Center was first with a time of 8:41.8.
