ST. GEORGE — Heading out east for the furthest meet of the year, the Clifton-Clyde track team had a great showing against some powerhouse schools as the second smallest school in attendance.
The girls’ team was second with 113 points, and the boys were fourth with 59 points. Rock Creek was first in both with 212 and 196 points.
In the boys’ 100m, Aekley Goeckel was 12th with a time of 11.95, Cayden Moe was 14th with a time of 12.03, and Braxton Otwell was 27th with a time of 13.78. Logan Rankin of Rock Creek was first with a time of 10.94.
In the girls’ 100m, Sevy Wurtz was first with a time of 12.53.
In the girls’ 100m hurdles, Nellie Fahey was ninth with a time of 19.58, and Karli Reitz of Rock Creek was first with a time of 17.17.
In the boys’ 200m, Luke Nobert was fourth with a time of 23.27 and Braxton Otwell was 21st with a time of 28.23. Thomas Eagles of Rock Creek was first with a time of 22.23.
In the girls’ 200m, Sevy Wurtz was first with a time of 26.9.
In the boys’ 400m, Kaden Rudolph was 10th with a time of 59.38 and Aekley Goeckel was 11th with a time of 1:01.86. Dominic Falco of Wamego was first with a time of 51.93.
