LITTLE RIVER — Drawing Little River after finishing in third place due to tiebreakers with Lincoln and Sylvan-Lucas, the Clifton-Clyde football team travelled to Little River, with the Eagles falling to the Redskins 50-18 to end their season.

After receiving the opening kick to start the game the Eagles got a pair of first downs, but on a fourth-down try on the Little River 23-yard line a high snap ended the drive. Little River was able to take the momentum and got on the board with a 24-yard run to go up 8-0. The Eagles retaliated on the following drive with a Kyzler Damman touchdown to make it an 8-6 game after the unsuccessful 2-point attempt. Little River started the following drive on the Eagle 35-yard line after a big kick return and found the end-zone in seven plays, taking a lot of time off the clock and starting the second quarter up 16-6. After a 31-yard pass from Joseph Fahey to Trenton Benne put the Eagles in Little River territory, Damman found the end-zone on a 6-yard run to make it a 16-12 ball game. Little River quickly responded with a one-play 46-yard run to make it a 22-12 game with eight minutes remaining in the half. After forcing a three-and-out, Little River scored once again on a 24-yard pass to go up 28-12, which they would take into halftime.

The Redskins continued the momentum into the second half, taking the opening kick of the half for a touchdown to go up 36-12. A fumble on a backwards pass that gave Little River the ball on the following Eagle drive would start to give Little River too much momentum for the Eagles to overcome, as another touchdown put Little River up 44-12. A huge pass from Fahey to Landon Begnoche put the Eagles on the Little River 12-yard line, a screen pass to Emitt Tiemeyer put the Eagles at the 1-yard line, with Damman punching the ball in to give the Eagles their final score of the game as the third quarter ended. Little River drove down the field and on a fourth down attempt on the Eagle 35-yard line scored a 35-yard rushing touchdown, to get the final score of 50-18.
