WATERVILLE — In a league matchup against Waterville for the second straight game, F&A fell to the Yellowjackets 12-2, ending F&A’s season.
After an uneventful first inning, F&A scored first with Landen Belden scoring in the top of the second after picking up a hit, with Bailey Streit also getting walked and getting into scoring position. Waterville rebounded with 11 runs scored in the bottom of the second. F&A picked up another run in the top of the third inning with Bruno Eubanks making it home on four walks. The Yellowjackets scored one run in the bottom of the inning to initiate the 10-after-three innings run rule and end the game.
Tucker Davis, Belden, and Bailey Streit each got on base twice, with Belden and Palmgren scoring the two runs.
Hosting Waterville for a makeup game from earlier in the season, F&A fell 35-1.
The Yellowjackets scored 14 runs in the first inning, 10 runs in the second and 11 runs in the third.
Elijah Shepard scored the lone run for F&A, after getting walked to lead off the bottom of the second, he stole second and third, and made it home on a double play ball.
Grayson Palmgren got on base in the second on a hit by pitch, and Toby Streit was walked in the third inning.
