Panther cross country season ends at regionals

LEONARDVILLE — Running at regionals at Leonardville Golf Course for the second time in two weeks, the Concordia High School cross country season officially ended with no runner qualifying for the state meet.

In the boys’ race, Brody Marsh was the fastest Panther, finishing in 38th place with a time of 19:38.04. Tucker Davis was behind him in 39th place with a time of 20:00.54. Carson Gallardo was 43rd with a time of 20:33.22. Daniel Reedy was 45th with a time of 20:53.78, Eli Denham was right behind him, finishing in 46th place with a time of 20:57.56. Colton Gallardo was 51st with a time of 22:15.51. Peyton Parker of Wamego was first with a time of 16:19.55. Concorida was seventh as a team, as Wamego, Rock Creek and Eudora were top three and earned bids for state.

In the girls’ race Sophia Fall finished in 38th place with a time of 24:28.15. Kylie Pfizenmaier of Clay Center was first individually with a time of 19:43.17. Wamego, Eudora and Clay Center were the top three teams and earned bids for state.
