Panther track takes third, fourth place at NCKL meet

WAMEGO — Officially capping the “regular season” off with the North Central Kansas League meet hosted at Wamego, the Concordia High School track team took home third and fourth-place finishes in the seven-team meet.

The girls’ team was third with a score of 79, Rock Creek was first with 169; and the boys’ team was fourth with 43 points, Rock Creek was first with 187 points.

In the boys’ 100m, Javen Garcia was fifth with a time of 11.43, Matthew Naillieux was ninth with a time of 11.74, and Ryker Wildeman was 13th with a time of 12.07. Logan Rankin of Rock Creek was first with a time of 10.97.

In the girls’ 100m, Lillian Nuss was second with a time of 12.89, Madalyn Bowers was sixth with a time of 13.45, and Brexlynn Koch was ninth with a time of 13.75. Kinzee Charbonneau of Clay Center was first with a time of 12.74.

In the boys’ 200m, Javen Garcia was sixth with a time of 22.65, and Rankin (RC) was first with a time of 21.94.

In the girls’ 200m, Lillian Nuss was third with a time of 26.76, Brexlynn Koch was ninth with a time of 28.24, and Oakleigh Teel was 13th with a time of 28.92. Reese Wassenberg of Marysville was first with a time of 25.84.

In the boys’ 400m, William Metcalf was 14th with a time of 59.21, and Zack Stovall was 15th with a time of 59.71. Thomas Eagles of Rock Creek was first with a time of 49.85.

In the girls’ 400m, Rylie Jessup was sixth with a time of 1:04.64, and Kylee Frazee of Rock Creek was first with a time of 58.29.

In the boys’ 800m, Brody Marsh was eighth with a time of 2:12.21, Alex Gallardo was 15th with a time of 2:26.72, and Gunner Barnes was 17th with a time of 2:35.29. Malachi Weimer of Wamego was first with a time of 2:01.94.

In the girls’ 800m, Hannah Bridwell was third with a time of 2:29.02, and Rylie Jessup was 11th with a time of 2:44.04. Clare Buessing of Rock Creek was first with a time of 2:21.24.

In the boys’ 1600m, Daniel Reedy was 10th with a time of 5:32.38. Liam Johnson of Rock Creek was first with a time of 4:30.61.

In the boys’ 110m hurdles, Burke Kindel was eighth with a time of 17.68, and Dylan Jones of Rock Creek was first with a time of 15.34.

In the boys’ 100m hurdles, Charlize Cash was eighth with a time of 17.3, and Tessa Herman of Abilene was first with a time of 16.24.

In the boys’ 300m hurdles, Stanley Dervil was sixth with a time of 43.75, and William Adams of Wamego was first with a time of 43.75.

In the girls’ 300m hurdles, Charlize Cash was sixth with a time of 48.97, and Wassenberg (MV) was first with a time of 46.99.

In the boys’ high jump, Stanley Dervil was first with a height of 6’2”, and Zack Stovall was fourth with a height of 5’6”.

In the girls’ high jump. Avery Kueker was third with a height of 5’2”, Gabi Lange was fifth with a height of 5’, and Marlee VanMeter was seventh with a height of 4’8”. Kacy Roesch of Marysville was first with a height of 5’4”.

In the boys’ long jump, Matthew Naillieux was third with a jump of 19’11.5”, Javen Garcia was fifth with a jump of 19’8.75”, and Reese Franklin was eighth with a jump of 19’3.5”. Aiden Torry of Rock Creek was first with a jump of 21’8.5”.

In the girls’ long jump, Avery Kueker was second with a jump of 16’5”, Marlee VanMeter was third with a jump of 16’, and Rubi Trost was sixth with a jump of 15’0.25”. Sarah Miller of Marysville was first with a jump of 16’5.5”.

In the boys’ triple jump, Reese Franklin was first with a jump of 42’4”, and Kalvin Keller was ninth with a jump of 34’3”.

In the girls’ triple jump, Avery Kueker was second with a jump of 35’0.75”, Charlize Cash was fifth with a jump of 33’2.5”, and Rubi Trost was eighth with a jump of 30’7.25”. Aubrey McCarn of Rock Creek was first with a jump of 35’ 11.25”

In the girls’ pole vault, Gabi Lange was first with a height of 10’.

In the boys’ discus, Caden Stein was 12th with a throw of 106’1”, Brody Knox was 16th with a throw of 96’4”, and Nolan Christensen was 17th with a throw of 93’1”. Josh Flanigan Jr. of Wamego was first with a throw of 150’1”.

In the girls’ discus, Marlie Metzler was ninth with a time of 84’6”, Kaziah Regnier was 11th with a time of 81’9.5”, and Jori Letourneau was 13th with a throw of 71’0.5”. Rory Pitzer of Rock Creek was first with a throw of 140’.

In the boys’ javelin, Jett Flax was seventh with a throw of 133’6”, Brody Knox was 10th with a throw of 127’6”, and Caden Stein was 15th with a throw of 114’11”. Jaxon Kirby of Rock Creek was first with a throw of 163’2”.

In the girls’ javelin, Kingly Kisby was 10th with a throw of 97’1”, and Rubi Trost was 13th with a throw of 90’6”. Skylar Schoenbeck of Wamego was first with a throw of 129’7”.

In the boys’ shot put, Brody Knox was 10th with a throw of 40’4”, Caden Stein was 14th with a throw of 37’10.25”, and Nolan Christensen was 19th with a throw of 33’4”. Mason Isch of Wamego was first with a throw of 51’7”.

In the girls’ shot put, Gabi Lange was fourth with a throw of 33’9”, Marlie Metzler was 10th with a throw of 27’8”, and Jori Letourneau was 13th with a throw of 24’10”. Pitzer (RC) was first with a throw of 41’ 4”.

In the boys’ 4x100m relay, the team of Ryker Wildeman, Matthew Naillieux, Kyler Sheets, and Javen Garcia was third with a time of 44.54, and Wamego was first with a time of 42.45.

In the girls’ 4x100m relay, the team of Madalynn Bowers, Lillian Nuss, Marlee VanMeter, and Avery Kueker was third with a time of 50.68, and Marysville was first with a time of 49.98.

In the boys’ 4x400m relay, the team of Derrick Jumper, Brody Marsh, Reese Franklin, and Matthew Naillieux was seventh with a time of 3:41.73, and Wamego was first with a time of 3:25.36.

In the girls’ 4x400m relay, the team of Marlee VanMeter, Hannah Bridwell, Rylie Jessup, and Lillian Nuss was fourth with a time of 4:15.56, and Marysville was first with a time of 4:05.08.

In the boys’ 4x800m relay, the team of Gunner Barnes, Alex Gallardo, Daniel Reedy, and Kalvin Keller was sixth with a time of 10:30.5, and Wamego was first with a time of 8:18.17.
